Neural Plasticity (2025)

Neural Plasticity explores the visceral intimacy of rewiring mind itself. Silicone neurons wall mounted or suspended in mineral oil pulse with bioluminescent activity, creating a living system that responds to human touch with cascading patterns of light.

The work interrogates the boundary between biological and artificial intelligence through direct physical manipulation. The slippery medium mirrors the fluid nature of thought itself, while LED cascades make visible the invisible processes of neural formation and reformation.
